Those poor 4X4 drivers. Is there any end to the persecution they suffer?

According to the Telegraph, drivers of high-emission vehicles could soon be charged more to use council car parks and parking meters.

Richmond council in London already has a scheme whereby owners of gas guzzlers are charged more for parking permits and soon the idea could spread across the capital as local authorities look to boost their eco-credentials.

Which is a shame.
